This unique collaboration between the Van Gogh Museum and Bedding House results in a very special bed linen collection. Each design is inspired by one of Vincent van Gogh's works. This design is based on the painting "Almond Tree in Blossom". Van Gogh painted one of his favorite motifs as a gift: large, flowering branches against a blue sky. He created this painting to mark the birth of his godson, who was also named after him: Vincent Willem. As a symbol of young life, van Gogh chose the branches of the almond tree, one of the earliest flowering trees, which announces spring as early as February. The inspiration for this theme came from Japanese woodcuts, which also inspired the sharp contours and position of the tree on the picture. This bed linen consists of a different color composition with the well-known almond tree branches in blossom as an eye-catcher against a green background with a linen structure. The bed linen is made of pure Mako satin (220 TC) and has a plain green back. Thanks to the satin weave, the fabric feels wonderfully soft and has an elegant sheen. The duvet cover has a zipper. The bed linen is washable up to 60 degrees, suitable for tumble drying and can be ironed. Beddinghouse wants to design attractive collections in harmony with people and the environment.
