The "Sunflowers" are one of van Gogh's most famous works worldwide. A rich symphony of various yellow, orange and green tones. With this series of decorative sunflower still lifes, van Gogh wanted to impress his friend Paul Gauguin. These still lifes were to decorate the walls of Gauguin's bedroom. Van Gogh set about this series with great fanaticism. He had to paint quickly because the flowers wilt quickly in a vase: "I am now painting with the same furious zeal with which a Marseillesman eats his bouillabaisse [Provençal fish soup]. You will not be surprised to hear that I paint large sunflowers." Gauguin actually found the paintings extremely successful and said that sunflowers were a characteristic trademark for van Gogh. In 1889, van Gogh took up the motif again and created the picture that can be seen today in the Van Gogh Museum. This well-known work by van Gogh is printed lifelike on the bed linen, and the brushstrokes are clearly visible. Quickly painted flowers add a versatile look and artistic touch to any bedroom.

The bed linen is made of Mako satin, pure cotton. The duvet cover has a noble sheen and feels smooth thanks to the satin weave. More threads are used in a satin weave - the fabric is denser. The duvet cover is equipped with a zipper. The bed linen is washable up to 60 degrees, suitable for tumble drying and can be ironed. Thanks to its high quality, this bed linen remains dimensionally stable and colorfast even after washing.
