This season, the inspiration for the collection comes from the troubled time Vincent van Gogh spent in the South of France. Inspired by sun-drenched landscapes, he managed to take his art to new heights. The Beddinghouse x Van Gogh Museum Vieux Vignoble bed linen pays homage to one of Vincent van Gogh's last detailed drawings entitled 'Oude wijngaard met boerin'. In this unique depiction, Van Gogh started with a pencil drawing and then added oil and watercolors in various shades of blue. The discolored red roofs give the design an interesting nuance. Since Vincent left large areas uncovered, the color white plays an important role in the depiction. This choice contributes to the freshness and lightness of the design. In contrast to Van Gogh's otherwise rather robust works, this bed linen exudes an airy and playful atmosphere with its beautiful blue and cream tones. The back of the bed linen features a pattern of dark blue brushstrokes. The sophisticated decoration of the pillowcases with a dark blue piping gives them a classic look.High quality The bed linen is made of pure Mako satin, 100% cotton. Thanks to the satin weave, the fabric feels wonderfully soft and has an elegant sheen. The duvet cover has a zipper.
