We want to keep the environmental impact of our products to a minimum and therefore strive to use sustainable materials. Our most important raw material is cotton. The cultivation and processing of cotton has a high environmental impact and that is why we focus on finding more sustainable alternatives. We continuously strive for greater sustainability and pay attention to people and the environment. Bedding House therefore introduces the Beddinghouse Care line with various more sustainable qualities Lyocell is made from the cellulose fibers of beech trees, which can be grown on soil that is not suitable for agriculture. Since beech cultivation can use wastewater and fewer harmful solvents, this cultivation method is much more environmentally friendly than, for example, growing cotton. Beech requires less water, pesticides and fertilizers to grow, making it a more sustainable option. Lyocell also offers antibacterial properties, excellent moisture absorption and optimal ventilation. The fabric has good temperature regulation, which means the duvet cover is cool in summer and warm in winter. This duvet cover is made of 30% lyocell and 70% Mako satin with cord ends on the pillowcases. The mix of lyocell and cotton satin makes this duvet cover silky soft, durable, shiny and comfortable to sleep on. We are bringing this new collection in FSC cardboard packaging. This means that the packaging raw material comes from sustainable forestry. This packaging is much more durable and can simply be disposed of with the waste paper so that it can be recycled again. The elastic band around the packaging can be reused.
