The Blossom duvet cover by Beddinghouse x Van Gogh Museum is inspired by the painting 'Amandelbloesem'. Large, flowering branches against a clear, blue sky - the almond blossom was one of Vincent's favorite motifs. He created the painting in honor of the birth of his godchild, who is named after him. These early-flowering trees announce the arrival of spring and symbolize young life with their branches. Van Gogh was inspired by Japanese printmaking, which is expressed in the sharp contours and composition of the tree in the painting. The Blossom duvet cover features a fresh blue-gray background with a canvas print instead of the traditional blue sky. The back of the duvet cover is a uniform blue-gray.High quality The bed linen is made of Mako satin, 100% pure cotton 260 TC. The duvet cover has a noble sheen and feels smooth thanks to the satin weave. More threads are used in a satin weave - the fabric is denser.
